I just realized after watching a show on Discovery Travel & Living that I had been to Vegas thrice during my stay in US and didn't even visit a nearby store (Bonanza - world's largest gift shop) to my hotel (stayed there twice in two separate trips) maybe just because it was just next to my hotel and didn't care much. May be the 'world's largest..."phrase just turned me off and made me assume that it was a gimmick - 'yeah!right as if you are "actually" the world's largest".

Moral of the story: sometimes its better to forget Google search, LonelyPlanet.com and a predetermined itinerary.

Its time I started taking a fresher look at places around me and rediscover them - maybe there's a new pizza place around the corner which deserves more attention :P :-D Regards,
